The Mi MIX 2 is the only Xiaomi phone with an 18:9 display but that will be changing soon with the upcoming release of the Redmi 5 and Redmi Note 5. Pictures and full specification details of the former have been accidentally leaked by China Telecom ahead of its rumored release tomorrow.
Design
The photos of the Redmi 5 leaked is of the gold variant. The design isn’t really different from that of the Redmi Note 4X. The key change is the front which now has slightly smaller bezels to accommodate the full-screen display.

New images posted by a Twitter user detail the design and appearance of the new Maple Leaf Red variant of the Samsung Galaxy S8. The rear panel of the device is colored red although the bottom portion of the smartphone seems to shift to a purple tone, at least based on the images posted. On the other hand, the front of the handset, like other variants of the Galaxy S8, is colored black. Despite the differences in color, the physical appearance of the smartphone remains unchanged in the new variant. Rumors and leaks of the Honor V10 have been floating around for a few weeks now, but it has finally been made real. As expected, the smartphone boasts of top of the line specs and an 18:9 screen that puts Honor in the running for this year’s premium smartphone race. What wasn’t expected was how Huawei and Honor would boast of the V10 having better face recognition than Apple’s Face ID, without using the same kind of hardware that the iPhone X has.

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is all set to launch Honor 7X in India on December 5. While earlier reports have hinted an early December launch but now we have a specific launch date for the device. The launch date has been confirmed by Honor India on their social media platforms including Twitter and Facebook. The company has also been teasing the upcoming launch with the hashtag #MaxYourView on its social media platforms for quite some time now. After the launch, the smartphone will go on sale on December 7 on Amazon India.
